Washington Post All Met Selection - James Butler (Lake Braddock H.S.)
April 9, 2016 - After a very successful career with Virginia Elite and Lake Braddock High School, James Butler was selected to the 2015-16 Washington Post All Met 1st Team for high school basketball.
The All Met team represent the top players in the Washington D.C. area to include (Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.). This year class includes to McDonalds All-Americans from local high schools.

2016 - It's been a vision of Thomas Gadson to form a youth basketball team in Northern Virginia since the 2008 season. With a good eight years invested in the Virginia Elite Basketball Club, he is well aware of what sells in the world of basketball. Several D1 programs have contacted Gadson about one of his top collegiate prospects, a 6-11 sophomore. Gadson said "just liek with anything else some may choose to get involved early in the recruiting process or others may wait, but if someone doesn't want him, someone else will."
Virginia Elite serves all parts of Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland and West Virginia. The premier AAU Grassroots Basketball program in Northern Virginia. Established in 2008 Virginia Elite has maintain a level of excellence that has resulted in many players playing at the highest level of high school and collegiate basketball.
