Kelly, coached Forest Park High School' girls basketball team to two Group AAA state titles in 2004 and 2006. Coach Kelly has served as an assistant under Coach Cliff Gorham for two full seasons. She started the program at Forest Park before joining the women’s basketball staff as an assistant at George Mason University for one season.At Forest Park, Kelly compiled a record of 149-43 in seven seasons. That mark included five straight state tournament appearances. Kelly never had a losing record at Forest Park.
Girls High School Elite UA Rise
Class: 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024
All teams will be participating in the Under Armour (VA) Rise Circuit league and well as other elite level exposure NCAA and Grassroots associated events throughout the spring and summer.
The Girls High School Elite program (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade) focuses on competing in national elite level events and NCAA regulated events that exposes our players to opportunities that could result in a college scholarship.
Under Armour (UA) Rise circuit league was created to bring the premier high school teams and players to have a consist platform to showcase their talents. Team from throughout the US and Canada in the 15U, 16U, and 17U age groups comprise of one of the three major grassroots circuits in the country.
Additionally, our teams compete in the most competitive grassroots events across the nation! Both youth and high school teams travel throughout the nation and possibly even internationally. 15U age level teams play in “NCAA Live Viewing Period Events” in which our players will get opportunities to play in front of collegiate coaches who may be recruiting them.
Virginia Elite serves all parts of Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland and West Virginia. The premier AAU Grassroots Basketball program in Northern Virginia. Established in 2008 Virginia Elite has maintain a level of excellence that has resulted in many players playing at the highest level of high school and collegiate basketball.
