UNDER ARMOUR (UA) FUTURE TEAM TRYOUT

** Only attend tryout if yous child is ready NOW to join the program if selected.  The Junior Elite Girls Under Armour (UA) Future team’s philosophy is the same as the Under Armour (UA) Rise high school division. We provide instructions and targeted development of our players to complete at the UA Future national level. The team will represent Virginia Elite on the Under Armour (UA) Future circuit in 2022-23.

We strategically fuse basketball training, player development, athletic education and basketball specific performance training that is aimed to increase the ability of all players who desire to compete at a national level.

THE PROCESS

PLAYER REGISTRATION

It is a requirement for EVERY Player to register to participate in  workouts and tryouts.

PLAYER EVALUATION SESSION I

We will hold player evaluation session for players that want to be considered for team selection on August 10, 2019 at Herndon Middle School, 901 Locust Street, Herndon, VA. The workouts do not guarantee a roster spot but provides the coaching staff an early evaluation of a players talent. ** Coaches may concluded during the workout that a player can be a candidate for team selection.  

TEAM TRYOUT AND EVALUATION SESSION 

A one-day tryout will be held for players that desire an opportunity to be considered for the UA Rise and Region Youth grassroots team selection. The tryout process is to select players to fill roster spots based on playing ability and the ability to be coached. ** Coaches will select players during the tryout period to be on the team roster. Each tryout session will be 2 hours in duration and it is REQUIRED to attend each session. This is a very serious process.
